If you would like to be listed on this page,
Email me your info and skin.
Send what ever info you can and if you have never
driven or worked on race cars
send some info on what local tracks you go to,
favorite drivers, etc.
The idea is to make it easier for drivers to
get together, download the skins
and have some mud slinging' fun. And to
find out a little about
who's rubbin' the numbers off your doors.
If you have downloaded a ZIP file with an EXE
file in it, open the ZIP file
and double click on the EXE file. The files will
go into the proper folder to
use with DTR. With the ZIP files that have a
skin.str and texture.tga file, extract
them to C:\ The files should end up in
the proper folder for DTR to use them.
If you are having any problems, mail me or post
in the forum for help.
Real Racing Experience; I have been going to races all my life. For a while I was a racing photographer with my father for some weekly publications. I have had pictures published in Stock Car Racing and Circle Track magazines. When I was in high school I hung around Ed Flemke's garage where I learned fabrication and chassis setup on pavement cars. I gave up the cameras and became a crew member and knew that's what I wanted to do. I have worked as a crew member, crew chief, and front tire changer on numerous weekly division cars in southern New England as well as on NASCAR Featherlite Series Modifieds. This is the one car I have experience behind the wheel in. It wasn't much experience but it was fun while it lasted. I ran this car in Enduro races at Stafford Motor Speedway, and Waterford Speedbowl back in 1989.

farm, we carved a track into an old cow pasture, two other friends brought over a '50 Chevy, and an old Triumph station wagon, and we went racin'! The Triumph was good in the turns, the Chevy was strong down the straights, but when it got close, nobody argued with that 6000 lb Pontiac.

now defunct Firebird Raceway in Phx. AZ and Manzanita Speedway. Moved to Oregon in 1986 and started racing Super Stocks, which were actually a full blown outlaw late model. Ran 4th in the points in 1989 and again in 1991. Moved to the IMCA modifieds in 1992. 1993 was 7th in the points. 1994 went on to claim 6th in the points. The last race of 94 I rolled the car 4 times down the back straight completely destroying the car. Went all of 95 and 96 without our own car, picking up a ride wherever we could. 1997 bought a car from my dad and went on to finally claim our first feature win. and a 5th in the final points. 98 was another good year, but no feature wins and a 4th in the standings. 1999 was our best year ever. 18 starts 1 win, 7 2nd place finishes, 13 top 5's and 15 top tens. We are going into the 2000 season with our GRT modified gunning for the championship.
a couple buddy's of mine and have been hooked on sims ever since. Was the league adminstator for the N2 IORL online league. When Ten shut down I moved onto racing N3 but with all of my roots in dirt racing DTR was the perfect fix for me. Started racing DTR when the demo first came out. I don't think I have gone a day since without at least running a few laps. Have won a few races online and off including 1 LMPG offline series race and 2 Leisure Time Racing League races online. Am also involved the the DIIRT invitational online league. Am the team leader for the best group or racers on the net, WFO Racing am hoping to keep the team together and move onto to Sprints and DTR2 when they come out. I get as much enjoyment from helping other learn how to work on setups and race on DTR as I do winning races. |
Southern Ontario. The speedway is a DIRT sanctioned track and a part of the 358 DIRT Modified and DIRT Sportsman trail races therefore bringing a lot of big name drivers to town. I have decided to pursue other interest for the 2000 season but got a feeling I wont be gone for long. Mr. Jet Skins himself. Check out his work on the Jet Skins page in the Toolbox
the paint booth. (hehehe) My setups I use are from all over but I have found that Poleman33 - Chuck Embry are always right on the money. It was his patience and understanding to help out the new kid on the block that made me realize that the sim community is one I wish to belong to. |

it seemed like I was at the track every weekend (probably because I was),and thats when I really started to get into dirt racing. There is just something about a car that can lift the right front wheel off the ground and carry it all the way down the straightaway. Two years later they closed the track and today you can buy a townhouse where turn 4 used to be. That was still some of the best racing I've ever seen, and some of the best pit fights too. Nowadays I've got to make the hour-long haul to LaSalle Speedway to get my dirt fix, but at least I get to see the H-A-T guys once a year!
behind the wheel of a L/M, even if that wheel is behind a monitor. I stumbled upon the LMPG looking for setups, and wound up meeting some of the best guys in that Offline Series, many who are on this page too. Thanks again for the great car skin Kevin, and I gotta thank Chris for all his set-up tips. I finished pretty good in the LMPG series considering it was my first series of any type. I don't race on-line much with DTR, I guess I'd rather spend time trying to squeeze an extra tenth out of a setup, because now that I've started running the WFO Offline Series, I'm gonna need as many tenths as I can find. |
